Our Mission

The Châteauguay Sexual Assault Center (CALACS – Centre d’aide et de lutte contre les agressions à caractère sexuel) is an independent community organization:

• that works to denounce sexual violence and tirelessly pursues its work to ensure support adapted to adolescent girls (12 years and over) and women who have been sexually assaulted;
• that informs and raises public awareness on the need to prevent sexual violence and to defend the rights of victims of sexual assault and of all women to live in safety and with respect of their integrity and their privacy.
