Prevention and awareness at the CALACS

To eliminate sexual assault, we need to understand the problem. Unfortunately, the information held by the general population is too often filled with myths and prejudices. Determined to provide information that reflects the reality of sexual violence, women have redefined it based on their lived experiences. And it is this information that we disseminate. By sharing our thoughts, our social analysis of the problem and our experiences, we act together to counter this problem. To do this, we organize various actions and carry out awareness-raising, education, and prevention activities such as:

  • Public awareness activities, presence in the media, conferences and workshops reaching adults and youth in school, social, community and professional groups;
  • Information, training and consultation services for the community and documentation center for workers and students.
